It's the year 2000. Voldemort has been vanquished, and the wizarding world saved, but at high cost. The final battle took the life of the Boy Who Lived, truly fulfilling the prophecy of "neither can live while the other survives." Life in the past few years has been alternately tense and relaxing, as people attempt to rebuild their lives in the wake of a war, but it almost feels like things are going back to normal.

Then it happens. Sybil Trelawney makes her third prophecy: He will rise again, his sibilant tongue lashing out to those he's left behind. He will come and he will seek eternal life through the Golden Apples. He will rise once more, and he will be unlike he has ever been." Kingsley Shacklebolt, current Minister of Magic, was told, but the masses were yet to be informed. What can the Ministry do to stop the return of whom they can only assume is Voldemort? What lengths will they go to to prevent him from finding the legendary Golden Apples? And how will the populace respond to the prospect of another war, and more secrets being kept in the Ministry?
